Not at the moment. It is asked often enough that we are looking at whether a one-time price can work for a product that carries a recurring cost per user — that is the actual sticking point, not reluctance. Nothing is priced or promised yet. If you would want one, email hello@brasswell.app and tell us; it is the kind of decision made on who asks.
No. We don’t take card details to begin a trial, which also means nothing can charge you by accident on day 15. You enter payment details only when you actively choose a plan.
Only the price and the billing date. Yearly is $199 for Core and $299 for Pro — $40.88 and $60.88 less than twelve monthly payments, or roughly two months free. Same features either way.
Yes, either direction, any time, from account settings. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Yes. The unused part of your current month is credited against the annual price, so you’re never paying twice for the same days.

It stays yours. You can export everything — income, expenses, receipts, invoices, tax figures — in a format an accountant or another tool can read, whether or not you’re still paying. Nothing is held hostage to a subscription.
If we change prices, existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at for as long as the subscription runs unbroken, and we’ll email before any change takes effect. We’d rather say that now than be asked it later.
No — just the 14-day trial. A permanently free tier would mean either advertising or selling data to fund it, and this is a product people connect a bank account to. Paying for it is the arrangement that keeps our incentives pointed at you.
